Located just down the road from Disneyland, this spot is in a prime location for anyone looking to grab a bite after a fun, long day of exploring. When I walked in, the place had a retro, slightly outdated vibe, but the staff more than made up for it with their warm and helpful service. After spending some time with the menu, I opted for the Roscoe's Original Chicken Tenders with mac & cheese and an Eclipse to drink (a blend of lemonade, orange juice, and fruit punch). The presentation of the drink was impressive--the juices were perfectly layered, creating a beautiful visual without mixing too much. The taste lived up to the look, refreshing and flavorful. The chicken tenders were juicy and seasoned well, though I would've liked them to be a bit crispier. As for the mac & cheese, it was underwhelming, tasting more like the boxed variety, which I could do without. The waffle was good, though I personally prefer a thicker one, but that's just a matter of taste. All in all, I'd recommend giving this place a try. It's a quick walk from everything in the area, making it a convenient stop for a satisfying lunch or dinner after a day of fun.

While visiting Anaheim, I decided to check out Roscoe's not too far from the hotel. It was wonderful. The service was great and the food even better. The location feels dated, but I'm sure that's what they are going for. I loved that they have at least 3 different hot sauces at the table, including their own, which weren't bad. The chicken was crispy and fresh and seasons well. The waffles were fluffy and moist. They put globs of butter but it adds so much flavor that it didn't bother me. After tip it definitely came up to nearly $50 so they definitely added that tourism fee but I didn't even mind it. Definitely check them out if you're in the area.
